KBC Service Suspension

19th March 2020

Good Morning,

I am writing to inform you that all services at King’s Baptist Church have been suspended from Sunday 22nd March until further notice.  As leadership we believe that this is the right thing to do for the wellbeing of our members and congregation.

For those of you with the technology can we encourage you to ‘Like’ our Facebook page as we will put messages, videos, words of encouragement on there and be able to keep contact with one another.

We will also prepare a ‘What’s App’ page for all the congregation where we can all post and receive messages of encouragement and help at this time. This will help to keep us in contact with each other.  Watch out for this appearing on your phone!

Please remember to pray for one another, the church and for the situation that we find ourselves in.

We acknowledge the Lord’s sovereignty in and through all things and pray using the words of Paul to the church in Ephesus:

For this reason I bow my knees before the Father, from whom every family in heaven and on earth takes its name. I pray that, according to the riches of his glory, he may grant that you may be strengthened in your inner being with power through his Spirit, and that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith, as you are being rooted and grounded in love.  I pray that you may have the power to comprehend, with all the saints, what is the breadth and length and height and depth, and to know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge, so that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.

Now to him who by the power at work within us is able to accomplish abundantly far more than all we can ask or imagine, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus to all generations, for ever and ever. Amen.

Ephesians 3:14-21 (NRSV)

Blessings

Welcome to

KING'S

BAPTIST CHURCH

Cleethorpes

We are family

We'd love you to join us.

Our Church is a place where all are welcome and all are invited to encounter Jesus.

We believe God the Father invites us all to be adopted into His ever growing family.

We think Church should be exciting, engaging and encouraging.

We know that God is real, relevant and wants to reveal Himself to all.

We love God; Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

We love ...

God

We are a vibrant family who desire to experience both the love & presence of God. We don’t believe that God is a distant or indifferent dad who is mad with us; instead we know him to be a God who loves us and whose arms are open wide to welcome people home.

We believe that God is worthy of all of our love & affection & that we can have a personal relationship with God because of Jesus.

"God is love, and all who live in love live in God, and God lives in them."

1 John 4:16

We love ...

Each other

We believe that the Church is called to be a family. Here at Kings Baptist Church you will meet a community of people in all seasons of life  who are doing life & extending His Kingdom together.

We celebrate together, rejoice together, mourn together … just like any family.

"Your love for one another will prove to the world that you are my disciples."

John 13:35

We love ...

Cleethorpes

We are based in the centre of Cleethorpes, a seaside resort on the estuary of the Humber in North East Lincolnshire. We believe that we have been placed here for such a time as this. We are passionate about the things of God & we, therefore, have a passion for people, our town & our world. Our aim is to partner with Jesus to express & share the love, joy & power of His Kingdom in every area of our lives & to those around us.

We'd love to meet you!

King's Baptist Church is located on the seafront in Cleethorpes, North East Lincolnshire. If you're a Clee native or you're just visiting our beautiful resort, please stop by to say hi. We love meeting new people & we would love to meet you!
